Families choose Montessori Day Academy of Hartsville because our curriculum masterfully blends academic prowess with the development of skills necessary for a lifetime of achievement in a global society. We combine developmentally appropriate activities with social-emotional support to provide a holistic learning environment for our children. Beginning at 6 weeks old, our students learn how to work and play in culturally diverse, multi-age learning communities. The goal of their academic work is mastery, not test preparation, and their studies are augmented by a wide array of cultural programming. Our Toddlers enjoy weekly music lessons, art lessons, yoga, and story time. All students ages 3 years and older receive lessons in environmental education, cooking, cultural studies, visual art, and world music in addition to language and math.
Montessori Day Academy maintains accreditation with the American Montessori Society (AMS) as well as Montessori Educational Programs International (MEPI). We are also current members of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Montessori Day Academy partners with the ABC Quality Program and First Steps of South Carolina to provide FREE and low-cost tuition for our families. We feel that every family should have access to high-quality care and education for their children.
